Presbyterian Women
Back

The Presbyterian Women Organization is set up in "Circles" for fellowship, Bible Study, service and spiritual growth. Each Circle elects a Bible Moderator, and participates in denomination-wide projects such as White Cross, the "Birthday Offering," and Christmas gifts, decorations, and food for one or more needy families. Presbyterian Women handle the Food Committee which responds, as needed, to provide food in times of death, surgery, or birth to members. All women members are placed on this Food Committee unless they request to be omitted.

Annually, the Presbyterian Women organize a bake sale to benefit C.I.T.Y. House in Plano, the adoption of one or more needed families for Christmas, and care boxes for students and military persons away from home.

At this time, there are two Circles. All women are encouraged to participate in one of the Circles; friends and visitors are invited. The Circles meet monthly during the regular school year in members' homes or at the Church as follows:

  • Women's Evening Circle - Second Thursday, 7:30 p.m. (Church)
  • Women's Morning Circle - Third Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. (Church)
